一般去两个以上的不同地方开演唱会便可以称为TOUR。（例如彩虹的ASIA TOUR）在日本，通常情况是艺人发行新专辑后便马上开TOUR，TOUR的主题也是围绕着新专辑的歌曲所展开的。大部分情况是开1～2个月，当然也有像X-JAPAN那样由于中断或追加，一次TOUR开一年的罕见情况。
