细胞运动和细胞周期分子调控及其在胃癌发病中的作用。
其在分子细胞生物学和分子肿瘤学等领域,具有比较扎实的理论知识和实践基础,自1997年以来,已在《Dev Cell》(Cell 子刊)、《PNAS》(美国国家科学院院刊)和《J Biol Chem》等国际学术期刊发表了20多篇原始学术论文,合计影响因子超过100,受到国际同行们的关注(已被国际学术杂志引用了数百次)。2009年起,其领导的研究小组在细胞运动分子机理调控及人类重大疾病发生发展的细胞运动基础等领域,取得了一些有价值的实验结果,在《PNAS》等国际著名刊物上发表了一系列的原创性学术文章。其研究工作受到国家自然科学基金、国家高技术研究发展计划(863计划)、国家重点基础研究发展计划(973计划)等项目的资助。
