　　1982年4月24日，出生在德克萨斯，Kelly的音乐之路可以说是相当曲折的。没有唱片公司肯为她出唱片，她不得不转战洛杉矶，寻求机会，她参加了著名音乐创作人Gerry Goffin的录音工作，但是随后Gerry Goffin的生病，使她再次失去了机会。不久她的房子着了火，而她的汽车也被警局拖走，凯莉的精神和经济都受到了极大的打击。

　　2002年9月4日对于她来说是一个值得纪念的日子，凯莉获得了《美国偶像》的冠军，随后她的事业发展顺利.

　　2003年4月15日首张录音室专辑《Thankful》发表，首周即登顶排行榜冠军，并且创下了双白金的销量。

　　2004年11月30日，Kelly Clarkson的第二张专辑《Breakaway》成功发行。毋庸置疑，Kelly Clarkson是到目前为止“美国偶像大赛”中成绩最为显著的明星之一。更换了新的制作人，Kelly Clarkson的音乐风格也大为不同，这个曾经以演唱的嗓音酷似“花蝴蝶”Mariah Carey而被广大歌迷所熟知的女孩，如今也像很多女星一样转向了“摇滚”。

My December是Underground V2.0里的第6首歌曲，Underground 系列是只有交了会员费的歌迷才可以买到的CD，里面一般收录了很多的特别版或现场版歌曲，一年发行一张，这首歌的主唱是查斯特。

Hybrid Theory的全球庆功版里，一共两张CD，非专集的那张里也有这首歌曲。

这首歌曲有一个特别版

本，名字叫：My<Dsmbr ，是Reanimation这张专集里的歌曲，Reanimation是可以买到的。
