作品描述：画中描绘的是一个清秀瘦弱的姑娘，在厨房前用手遮住阳光看着远方，她为什么看，是担心地里的粮食没有收好还是盼望远去打工的爹妈归来？还是盼望未婚夫的信息还是忧郁明天的赶集？是为自己的婚姻而思还是为家人而思？我们不知道，但她的眼睛中的忧伤让我们明白，农村不是桃源。

王沂东画家中文介绍

　　王沂东，1955年生。山东人。17岁进入山东省美术学校。曾任教于山东艺术学校美术科。1978年考入中央美术学院油画系，毕业后留校任教，现为中国美术家协会会员。作品有《母与女》、《古老的山村》、《歇晌》等。王沂东对家乡沂蒙山有着浓厚的感情，山村的人物和景色成为他绘画的主题。其作品曾在新加坡、法国、意大利、日本和美国展出。

1987年在纽约哈夫纳画廊举办个展，作品《古老的山村》被中国美术馆收藏。

1991年以来参加历次香港佳士得“中国油画拍卖”。

王沂东近期的创作基本遵循了《融雪》、《暖科》所确立的趋向，是一些以自己的女儿和沂蒙山区环境为题材的作品。
