1.佛坪大熊猫对产仔洞穴的利用及幼仔洞穴生活期母-婴关系的发展模式（国家自然科学基金）；

2.野生大熊猫种群数量是否已达环境容纳量？-佛坪自然保护区大熊猫食性、觅食对策及生境选择研究（国家自然科学基金）；

3.大熊猫生境选择中的空间尺度问题及其对生境的利用（四川省杰出青年基金）；

4.宝兴县小型地栖兽类分布、相对多度与受胁因素调查（世界自然基金会物种项目）。

主要从事濒危物种行为生态及保护生物学研究；物种空间分布格局及其成因；环境胁迫下物种的行为反应机制及其生态与进化后果；濒危物种繁殖生态学；

就地与迁地保护：保护措施的发展及其有效性评估。

2005年受聘于四川省建设厅“邛崃山系大熊猫栖息地”世界自然遗产地申报专家；

2006年陕西省第九届自然科学优秀学术论文奖一等奖；

2006年四川省科技进步奖三等奖；

2007年度在全国第四届野生物生态与资源保护学术研讨会上被评为“优秀青年生态学工作者”；
