　　影片讲述一名女记者嘉伦因探访凶杀新闻时大受刺激，两夫妻于是到威纳医生的治疗中心休养。他们在中心发现病人有一些怪异行径，月圆之时并不时听到狼声，最后她丈夫竟成了人狼。本片处理手法相当诡异，常出于人之常理，逼真的特技化妆，人变成狼的整个过程，使观众大开眼界。

　　"电视台女记者凯伦·怀特(Dee Wallace-Stone饰)充当诱饵，帮助警察破获了Eddie Quist (Robert Picardo饰)所作的一系列凶杀案件后心力交瘁，她听从瓦格纳医生的建议，和丈夫Chris（Dennis Dugan饰）一起到 (Patrick Macnee饰)的治疗中心""The Colony""疗养。夫妻俩在疗养地并不能享受着轻松平静的生活，凯伦始终无法放松，她丈夫一直试图安抚她脆弱的神经。渐渐的，他们在中心发现病人有一些怪异行径，月圆之时并不时听到狼声，似乎当地的人全都是狼人，其中隐约还有令凯伦忐忑不安的杀手Eddie Quist的身影。更要命的是，凯伦的丈夫被狼人咬伤，受感染后也变成了狼人。留给凯伦的只有两种选择：要么被狼人撕成碎片后吃尽；要么加入其中也变成一个狼人……"
