闫永彬，男，博士，清华大学生命科学学院副教授，博士生导师。[1]1992—1997，清华大学精密系，工学学士学位

1997—2001，清华大学生物系，理学硕士和博士学位

2001年8月-今，任清华大学生命科学学院讲师（2001－2004）、副研究员（2004－今）、博士生导师（2008－今）[1]

研究领域为生物物理，

1．蛋白质折叠和构象病：主要运用生物波谱学研究蛋白质折叠、聚集机制、聚集防止的机理、以及人类遗传病的错误折叠和聚集机制；

2．核糖核酸酶与mRNA代谢调控：主要运用生物物理和生物化学手段研究核糖核酸酶的结构与功能，及其在mRNA代谢调控中的作用。[1]
